Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant Hapus everyone/ Happy St David's Day.
It's March 1st , the feast of St David/St Dewi the patron saint of Wales who died on this day in the year 589.
My favourite St Dewi story that I remember from school were his last words (he was said to be over 100 years old when he died)
He said "Gwnewch y pethau bychain mewn bywyd" meaning "Do the little things in life" - a reminder I think that every tiny action or thought might not seem much in the moment, on their own, but when put together can be transformative & beautiful.
It reminds me of something I read last night in Brene Brown's book "Daring Greatly". She writes " There's something magical about the idea of twinkle lights shining in dark and difficult places. The lights are small and a single light is not very special, but an entire strand of sparkling lights is sheer beauty. It's the connectivity that makes them beautiful."
It's a fantastic, insightful book for anyone wanting to live more "Wholehearted".
