News - February 10th online show

Helo gyfeillion,

Happy New Year friends & here's to another beautiful musical chapter together in 2023. The start of the year has had it's challenges for me & I've been so grateful to my bandmates & family for their support & love. We want to extend the same affection to each & every one of you & say that we're always here, through music or messages to take care of each other.

I've spent the last few weeks being quiet, being outdoors, hugging my loved one & moving closer to myself & the peace that comes with more acceptance.

I hope you can forgive that I've gotten a little behind with things & because of that there's a couple of changes to our schedule in February. The show on the 10th will be part 1 of 2 mini shows that we'll put together to create the full length. The first part will publish straight to Backstage at 7pm UK on February 10th & then we'll air the complete show on February 26th @7pm UK. Thank you for your understanding.

In case you missed it, our cover of Willy DeVille's Assassin of Love is Backstage under WATCH & LISTEN now. We really loved covering this one ❤️ Here's the link for you to download https://www.thejoyformidable.com/pages/backstage-songs/

R&R&M

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
