I wanted the closing track on Into the Blue to be a celebration of someone I love & admire. I regard them in my heart for lots of different reason, but this track touches on one quality in particular that is beautiful to me, the ability to still love life in the face of intense grief. You choose to be grateful every day even when times are tough. You choose kindness & understanding even when people are shitty. You make me harness the moment & cherish it before it's gone.
