Pass the Pentagon, the tidal basin, the Lincoln Memorial and the cherry blossom is in full bloom. Always glad to be back in DC and always flooded by memories. The Black Cat was an old haunt of mine when I lived in the city, so feels great to be here and a sold out show to boot. Celebrate with perhaps the worst Bloody Mary known to man, straight from hell's compost heap. Have a very giddy pre show warm up, listening to the Birdie Song with a bottle of Maker's Mark, Rhydian teaching us some of his old gymnastic moves. It's an accident waiting to happen. Love the show, meet some great people. We're driving overnight to Albany, so sadly a fleeting visit. I'm in the trunk tonight, with a torch, mill on the floss and we're working on a new remix for the lovely Boxer Rebellion too.
